CHROMAFLUX
Curated by Stefania Carrozzini
67 York Street Gallery, London
23 September - 4 October
This innovative exhibition gathers the work of twelve artists hailing from countries across the world including: Australia, United States, Germany, Sweden, Finland, China, England, Italy. Their work features mostly painting, sculptures and video. These various interpretations of the artists gestures toward different dimensions reach beyond their existential realities, as subjective perspectives implicate an aesthetic of the Chromaflux. Color is the primordial language of existence, a reflection of the world that inhabits us and the one we inhabit. Every hue is a breath, a heartbeat, an emotion etched into the invisible fabric of time. The flow of color is never static: like a river, it moves, blends, transforms. Life, like color, never stands still. It is a continuous flow, a dance of light and shadow that intertwine, embrace, and drift apart. Color is the vehicle through which the world speaks to our soul, and we, often unknowingly, respond. We respond in gestures, in glances, in choices even in silence. Chromaflux is this: the awareness that color is not just something to see but to feel. It is the visual representation of our inner breath, the rhythm of our being. Learning to let this flow pass through us without resistance means embracing the unpredictability of life and accepting that every shade has its moment, its reason. There is no “right” or “wrong” color, just as there is no right or wrong way to live. There is only movement the constant flow that shapes and transforms us, teaching us that, in the end, the Chromaflux is a visual and sensorial journey that explores the transformative power of color. It is not just a performance: it is an immersive experience where color becomes alive, fluid and constantly changing. Each shade is a force in motion, a wave that expands and contracts, intertwining with the emotions of the viewer. In Chromaflux, color is not confined by matter, but liberated through light, transparency and iridescent surfaces. Each work invites the observer to grasp the fluid and unpredictable nature of color, which changes depending on the perspective and intensity of the light. The chromatic flow symbolizes the instability and beauty of life itself: a continuous movement, never the same. Like water or wind, color reflects the mutability of human emotions, their ability to transform and influence each other. Chromaflux invites you to let go, to get lost in the flows of color and light, finding a form of personal order in the apparent chaos. In this chromatic flow, there is room for interpretation and for dreaming, a place where art dissolves into pure sensation. True art lies not in controlling color but in flowing with it. After Paris Chromaflux is the second edition of the exhibition. Artists are represented by MyMicroGallery.
